We’ve got two great events going on in Jeffersonville over the next few months, and we’d love for you to come!

 

    First, the LST boat is coming to Jeffersonville in August. The LST boat was a World War II troop landing ship built in 1942 and was one of many that landed on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day.  Typically, it is docked in Evansville — where it was built — but will be making an appearance again on the riverfront! There will be a lot of events scheduled to celebrate the Veterans of the WWII era while the boat is docked. If any of you know anyone local who may have a vintage vehicle (era 1930's-40's) they would like to display along Spring St. please let us know! We are still searching. The goal is to have as many vintage vehicles along Spring Street as possible to make the event as authentic as possible.
